Advertising needs to become smarter, giving just the right opportunity to people in their current situation, just at the precise moment they need it. It has to be extremely relevant and add a real value to people at specific moments in life.
According to this video this is just what Tesco managed to do in South Korea. The Home Plus virtual grocery store looks impressive to me. If this isn’t connecting business outcomes to consumer needs and behavior, I don’t know what is.
Physical and digital are beautifully connected. Think about it; is this advertising? Digital marketing? Is it in store or online? Is it mobile? Does it really matter?
